Evaluation of BEI's exit planning tools

I searched on "BEI" as a topic, but nothing came up (so apologies if there is an exiting thread on this).

I am a fractional CFO, so while exit strategy/planning is not my typical "entry point", I found my longer duration business owner clients wanted my advice in their transition plan creation/execution. I am primarily looking for something of a "practice aid" to give me a useful and thorough guidance to do the best I can for these clients.

For any of the XPX members that have selected BEI's product suite, I would love to gain your feedback on that choice.

Things that I am most interested in:

    1. does it gain me something 40 years of CPA/CFO/business advisory experience doesn't?

    2. Is it a marketing engine as well  or just a practice aid once you acquire a client through other means?

    3. what drove you to this product vs. other products/certifications out there?

Happy to watch this forum for your thoughts or happy to be emailed at msluka@npcfo.com.

Thanks, best regards and Happy 4th.

Hi Mike - XPX hosted a discussion of certification alternatives a while back that might be helpful to you: A Guide to Exit Planning Certifications.  The post includes a couple videos so you can see first hand what our members had to say.

Other resources that might be of help:

The Advisor's Guide to Value Growth that includes four posts about advisors' preferred tools.

A series of discussions called the Advisor Practice Tips that includes diverse topics for practitioners in the lower/mid market.
