XPX member Louise Phipps Senft has launched a new podcast called Blink of an Eye. 

In the new podcast, Blink of an Eye, Baltimore mother of five, Louise Phipps Senft, shares her family’s gripping experience, when in the summer of 2015 her 17-year-old son, Archer, was paralyzed in a terrible accident in Cape May, NJ.

On August 5, 2020, five years to the day Senft got the fateful call, she launched the new podcast which explores real life stories of trauma, loss, awakenings and epiphanies, beginning with her own story. In 2015, Senft received a call that Archer was in a catastrophic diving accident at the beach, shattering his neck and rendering him paralyzed from the neck down.

Blink of an Eye recounts the first year after the accident through her real-time, unedited journal entries that had been sent to her family and were later posted on social media. The raw, unvarnished entries were read daily by over 50,000 people who joined Senft and her family in the journey of life and death.

The podcast introduces listeners to some of the extraordinary people behind the scene, and others with extraordinary life stories, as well as wise men and women with life-changing knowledge for healing. Through Blink of an Eye, Senft explores the true nature of relationships and interconnectedness, and how to advocate for what is possible even in the face of traumatic events that change everything.
