Boston, MA – Gregory R. Rush, co-founder and partner of Dunn Rush & Co., has been named President of XPX (Exit Planning Exchange) New England, a nonprofit association of professional advisors who help business owners in all stages of company growth, from building value to business value transfer to assistance in preparing and executing a successful transition.
“XPX New England has developed an open, inviting community of advisors and business owners,” says Rush. “The organization’s business owner-centric programming is some of the most unique and actionable content available. Our clients and prospects find the topics directly relevant to issues they face. XPX programs are especially valuable when learning how to manage early coordination and collaboration between a business owner’s trusted advisors, a critical step to achieving the best possible outcome in any transaction.”
Rush has been an active member of XPX New England for many years and joined its board of directors two years ago. “XPX programming is excellent,” he says. “I joined the board because I believe the organization is only scratching the surface of its potential to become a recognized resource for thought leadership around all issues relating to building and transferring value and ownership of a business.”
Rush’s goals include increasing the number of XPX events and their visibility in the Boston area, expanding corporate and young professional membership and attracting new sponsors. Another key goal is promoting XPX programs and educational tools, including online videos of events and content by XPX professional members. “Taking on a leadership role is an exciting opportunity to help the organization grow and get vital information to middle market business owners throughout New England,” he says.
