Eddie Tuvin has been appointed Senior Vice President of CityFirst Bank in DC. The bank's mission to assist with projects to improve the economic environments in low to moderate income neighborhoods is closely aligned to that of Eddie's who started working as a community activist in the late 70s with WJZ TV's "World of Difference" campaign with Oprah Winfrey. He is a trained Peer Leader in the art of coalition building from the Boston based Coalition Building Network and is the recipient of several awards from the United States Small Business Administration. Eddie was the co-founder and Vice President of the Maryland Commercial Lenders Association.
Eddie's target banking markets are charter schools, affordable housing, small business, education, community facilities, not for profits, and property management companies. They are a lesser in new market tax credit transactions and will finance conventional an SBA loan requests.
