8 QUESTIONS EVERY BUSINESS OWNER SHOULD ASK THEMSELVES EVERY 90-DAYS
1. What were my 90-day Goals? Take an annual goal and divide by 4 – makes it more manageable. I typically shoot for 3 main goals each 90-Days, anything more is a bonus!
2. Did I meet the goals? Why or why not – top 3 reasons. What "worked" and "what didn't work" – just the facts please; we business owners tend to be too hard on ourselves - instead, we should be building up our confidence - it's ALL about confidence!
3. What Opportunities are right in front of me? If I had the time, money or resources - you know intuitively the very thing you are not doing that would catapult your business. Ie: lead generate, follow up, implement systems, ask for a mentor
4. Who could help me if I would only ask? Is there a mentor or coach that can get you to your next dream level in business? Owners ask for help for 3 reasons: (1) An inability to get there on their own; (2) Want to get there FASTER; or (3) Want to use a Proven System and have guidance from someone who's actually done it!
5. Did I do everything I could to make the rest of my year the way I want it to be? It’s the small things done consistently over time that make the biggest difference in our lives and income. They are the small commitments done daily over time that bring us success that we want.
6. How can I deliver more value to more people? This is one of the most powerful questions I ask myself because it takes me from a mentality of reaching a client here and there, to a mentality of how can I have a bigger impact – who do I want to be a "hero" to?
7. What 3 items could I delegate over the next 90 days? I'm talking those "C" or "B" activities that drain your energy. You want to spend more time on the "A+" activities – the ones that you enjoy and add value to clients and make you money!
8. Is my head in the game? A simple way of asking “is my mind set straight?” What communities, books, or other ways can I use to keep my thinking positive, expansive, and creating success for myself and my team.
Look, we’ve all had those years that just flew by. Nothing changed and the income certainly didn’t increase! Choose 3 things right now from your answers to the prior 7 questions and put them on a sticky note on your computer - put it where you will see it. 1 might be implementing a consistent, daily, lead generation system. 2 might be ‘I will not do it alone..I will ask for help’ etc
