Paul Janson

As Head of Investment banking, Paul Janson is responsible for all activities of the investment banking operation and revenue generation. Paul also serves as Capstone’s Chief Legal Officer and Chief Compliance Officer and serves on the company’s Investment Banking Committee, approving all transactions firm-wide. Additionally, he lead’s the firms Telecom and Utility Services Practice, and is active in other manufacturing and infrastructure sectors. In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors at Capstone Partners. Previously, Paul served as President and CEO of Camiant, a leading player in the Packet Cable Multimedia broadband space, CEO of Worldbridge Broadband Services Inc., and then President of C-Cor’s Global Services Division.


Liz Jacovino

Vice President

RBC Wealth Management

Liz Jacovino is a vice president and wealth strategist for RBC Wealth Management. She is based in New Haven and serves as a resource for financial advisors for understanding clients’ financial objectives, including complex financial and wealth strategies, business succession, asset protection and tax minimization. Liz places special emphasis on mitigating risks that clients may encounter. She has experience in translating complex legal documents into a language that is readily understandable, working closely with clients’ attorneys, accountants and other professionals to implement clients’ financial strategies. Liz frequently leads seminars and educational presentations for clients and groups on a variety of wealth strategies topics.  



Yaron Ben-Yohanan

Wealth Management Liaison
RBC Wealth Management

Yaron Ben-Yohanan leads RBC Wealth Management’s investment banking partnership efforts with RBC Capital Markets and with a selected group of independent, third-party investment banking boutiques who focus on lower middle-market M&A transactions. He joined RBC’s Corporate and Executive Services group in 2019 to identify, evaluate and execute cross-divisional referral opportunities which help RBC more holistically serve its C-suite clients. Prior to joining RBC, Yaron held various positions at Wells Fargo for 15 years, where he headed the cross-sell strategy and partnership efforts between the Wealth & Investment Management and Wholesale Banking divisions. Prior to that, Yaron was a director in Wells Fargo’s Investment Banking division, where he provided clients with M&A advisory services and capital raising solutions. His investment banking career started as an associate at J.P. Morgan’s M&A group.



Kerry Withrow

SR Vice President
Senior Consulting Group, RBC Wealth

For over 30 years Kerry has advised hundreds of businesses, corporations, ultra-high net worth individuals and families. He is the founding partner of the Business and Exit Planning Advisors Team (BEPA). The BEPA team advises on sell side solutions, business succession, post-sale financial planning and wealth management, tax and estate planning strategies through internal and external partners, Captive insurance asset management and retirement-plan design and implementation.

Kerry is an active member in the ESOP community, and is nationally recognized for his expertise on ESOPs and internal revenue code § 1042 rollovers. He is a member of the National Center for Employee Ownership ® and The ESOP Association.
