Playing both Offense and Defense in the War for Talent

A good offense always necessitates a good defense. Core mantra across all sports. So no surprise that in business the same holds true. It has been called many names, The Talent Tsunami, The Great Resignation, the Big Quit, or maybe best, The Great Discontent. Regardless, the war for Talent is very real. And while virtually every company is looking to hire, some of whom are down as much as 20% or more in headcount, polls suggest that as many as 50% of their current employees are at the same time looking for new jobs.

In the face of this challenging and unstable landscape, we are fortunate to have as our guest speaker, Michael Leckie, founding Partner of the consulting firm Silverback Partners and author of the recently published book The Heart of Transformation. In a fireside chat with XPX Fairfield Chapter President John Weidner, topics to be covered will include:

  • Why The Big Discontent? What is fueling it?
  • Defensive strategies designed to retain employees.
  • Offensive strategies designed to attract new employees

Do not miss this timely and most important discussions with one of the true thought leaders in the Human Capital space.
