Jen Thompson is Founder and CEO of ALKMY Advisors, a consulting firm focused on M&A integration, change management, and strategy execution. ALKMY’s mission is to cultivate positive and sustainable change for our clients and community. With over 20 years of professional experience, she has led executives and business leaders through new product launches and go-to-market readiness, M&A integrations, complex technology implementations, and project/strategy management office leadership. With an emphasis on process and culture adoption, complex project portfolio leadership and process re-engineering, Jen catalyzes cross-functional thought partners to envision a better future and coaches leaders toward successful outcomes.
Jen and her team work with clients (such as Children’s Hospital Colorado, Hewlett-Packard, and Alteryx) on critical value-creation initiatives such as ROI analysis and initiative scoping, process and cost optimization, talent management, technology rationalization, right-sized implementations, and change adoption. Jen also supports organizations with sourcing talent for complex project portfolio execution. Jen has previously held positions in regulatory affairs, technical writing, manufacturing operations management, and program management office in the healthcare, medical device, and consulting industries. Jen is a published author of Introduction to DITA - A User Guide to the Darwin Information Typing Architecture, 2006.
Jen is President and Owner of Women of Mergers & Acquisitions Network (WoMAN), a membership-based organization, who’s mission is to enrich the lives of women in M&A through three pillars of INFORM, CONNECT, and SERVE. WoMAN hosts monthly events, facilitates small cohorts, and provides a platform for members to connect.
Jen is also the Director for the PMI Mile Hi Women in Project Management Leadership Conference and is a former Board Director-Treasurer for the Association of Change Management Professionals.
